We have decided to make some small changes to the booking procedure.

 

1. To make this event happen we need a minimum of 20 people

2. Booking conformation along with payment MUST be in by 30th April

3. On the 1st May 2013 we will confirm 100% whether the event is on or canceled.

4. If canceled all deposits will be refunded same day

5. If event is on, flights and shipping can be arranged with confidence

6. We suggest that NO flights are booked or shipping arranged until the 1st May

1st paid up entrant from the UK signed up today.

Things are progressing nicely with the GBB. We now have a UK coordinator who is doing a great job. We are potentially looking at 6 people coming from the UK, 2 have committed and are paid up, several more have shown interest and 2 more say they will pay this week, so things are looking good. For those of you who have made a decision to come can I encourage you to pay your entry fee, link on website below.

We have just received our first committed and paid up USA participant for the GBB, we now have 7 paid up people. At present we are talking about placing a limit of 25 cars. The logistics of any more than that start getting crazy. 50 people walking into a restaurant and 25 cars turning up at a gas station is still a bit daunting.

That is unlikely to happen. My experience from the big 2005 tour is that more than 6 or 8 cars will break up into groups and drive more or less independently. Some left in the morning 2 hours later than others. But I agree, such a number can become unwieldy and limit the hotel choice.

Can you give us an estimated time of departure from Vernon on the 13th.

Unfortunately I would like to travel with the group for part of the day but we are now in the process moving an things just aren't going as planned.

Would like to leave Kamloops early in the AM and meet up with the group either in Vernon or somewhere along the way.

Don't no where you have planned a lunch stop but maybe you have something planned. Can you give us some idea.
