  1. I got watch much of the build process. You will be very pleased with this beauty.
  2. I've had my CSR for over 8 years and it has about 12k miles, plus however many when the odometer cuts out. This is exactly the right amount of miles because its much more about the quality of the 7 experience than the frequency.
  3. "In order to make sure the Demon's intake receives air cool enough to make 840 supercharged horsepower, Dodge used the car's air-conditioning system to chill intake temps. How do they do it? It actually pretty simple." http://www.hemmings.com/stories/2020/12/07/ready-to-race-1957-lotus-7-should-take-podiums-not-pedestals?refer=news&utm_source=edaily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2020-12-07
  4. I believe there is a newer Caterham between Tri-Cities and Walla Walla.
  5. If an Atom isn't a replica of an earlier production car, I don't think it will qualify.
  6. Geez, even the insults here are polite.
  7. An excellent start. Add in all the things GM got wrong and writer could have engineered better; Endless speculation and arguments on future models; Always referencing order codes instead what the item actually is (ie: NPP instead of exhaust); threads going off topic and becoming an exchange of personal attacks after 15 comments.
  8. Further proof of why this forum is such a pleasant online place to visit. Unfortunately, these Corvette Forum exchanges are more the norm than an exception. Thank you to my fellow 7 owners. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c8-general-discussion/4482498-c8-slot-don-t-need.html#post1602757078

  12. Bruce K - If the car you want to import was ever registered, licensed, assembled, driven, etc. it will not be legal to bring in to the US until it's 25 years old. You could try, but why?
  13. In Hemmings: FIND OF THE DAY Ready-to-race 1957 Lotus 7 should take podiums, not pedestals http://www.hemmings.com/stories/2020/12/07/ready-to-race-1957-lotus-7-should-take-podiums-not-pedestals?refer=news&utm_source=edaily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2020-12-07
  14. The VW should be safe, not so sure about the deer
  15. There's hope https://www.cnbc.com/2016/10/21/joe-biden-gets-rare-permission-to-drive-his-67-corvette-proceeds-to-burns-rubber.html

  17. Sorry to see this beautiful car go.
  18. Greg - Congratulations. Now bundle up and get on the road.
  19. Dave - I sold my C5 so I could buy my Caterham and have never regretted it. They are very different animals. Almost as different as the two forums.
  20. Mike - Great recap. It's been fun watching the progress since pieces first began arriving at Bruce's. Will truly be the CatKong of CSRs. Looking forward to more updates.
  21. When I had a '68 Dodge, I became too familiar with the rules while waiting for 1998 to arrive.
