well it lloks as though im just going to purchase a new frame and the bits i need to replace. to have the frame repaired is cost prohibitve. will post pics of the whole process once i get underway. lookin forward to it. and as always im always welcoming thoughts and constructive critisism and suggestions.

Since you're starting from the frame up: one quality of life issue i've encountered was the stock birkin fuel filler cap: fiddly and leaky with a full tank. I replaced mine with one made by Newton equipment and have been very happy.
