Well after all the talk in GBB tread about blats it is probably a good time to start thinking of potential blatting routes throughout the year. Add your ideas to the below list for future discussion:

Grizzly Bear Blat (organized by Terry)

BC Winery Tour (Kelowna, Penticton, Osoyoos)?

Jasper via the Ice Field Parkway (earlier in the year than last year)

Going to the Sun Road (overnight in Kalispell)

BC Group get together (Kamloops)?

Kananaskis hwy to Longview

Great list there Stewart. Lets get as many out this year as possible, even if you can only make it to a short blat.

I think the first few blats for me will have to be short ones. I'll want to be sure the bugs have been worked out.

Not yet Bill. I did some fiddling with the headers and the collector. The hi temp gasket maker is curing as we speak. I will have to adjust the mounting point for the muffler though, as I was able to get the collector further up onto the headers than before.

I got caught up over the las t few days and haven't had a chance to get to you. Would it be alright if I brought the keys and ramps back on Tuesday evening?

No problem Duane, please call prior to coming over to make sure we are home.

Any chance one of these (or something else) could be added to the Vancouver end of the GBB? As long as I am making the long drive to get there I would like to spend some more time in the area.

Stewart, what do you think about adding the pending Sparwood blat into the Going to the Sun Road, or would they be better seperate?

Well it looks like I am in the same boat as Bill in not being able to attend the GBB due to work commitments.

This said I am thinking of doing a trip to BC in early September. My plan at present (which could change) is to drive the Stalker to Nelson. Using Nelson as a base for a few of days to drive some of the local roads, maybe white water rafting, hot springs at Ainsworth, then drive to somewhere like Penticton and use this as a base again. In the Okanagan drive the local roads, maybe take in some wineries, sample some of the local restaurants etc. From here I think I would take a couple of days to get back home to Calgary.
