lancylad
Pedigree and bragging rights to one side and you come back to the base reason we all drive sevens.. With a bit of ambition and ingenuity we can have almost any power plant we want in our little buzz bombs... Sooooooo no matter whether you drive the latest incarnation of your particular brand or like me in an ageing 1995 fun machine, once you are behind the wheel and on a blat with like minded gear heads, who cars who came up with what first! Having said that, Westfield was first with all that stuff......and yes, I drive a Westfield.. Lol. You tell um John! ;-)
supersportsp
The FW bodywork (which is optional depending on the kit) was originally designed as part of the FW400 car. The FW400 was designed by Martin Ogilvie (google is your friend) and was WAY advanced for it's time. Likely too far advanced, but that is topic for another thread. Speaking of which, were any of these ever brought over? I think they were all RHD drive? I have an original brochure that I got sent to me from Westfield UK sitting in my file cabinet. I love that car. 880 pounds. Awesome.

No, none have been in the U.S. or Canada, although a Canadian import would be getting close to legal in terms of age. I believe there were less than 20 produced, so finding one that a seller will relinquish is the difficult bit. Although I realize I'm tending off-topic, the FW400 brochure can be seen here: http://www.manikllc.com/brochures/FW400_brochure.pdf Here's a little something to get back on topic.
