Front headlight and indicator wiring?

Hi all - hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm in the process of my build and struggling to make heads or tails of the instructions for the headlights and turn indicators. Couple challenges:

 

- I've got the light apart, but don't see anywhere to attach the turn indicator to. Manual says to put the ring terminal onto the screw with the other black wires, but I don't have a black wire (mine's brown but assuming its the same) and there's no ring terminal on the end to attach to the screw. Along similar lines, where the heck does the red wire connect?

 

- When feeding the wires down the chassis bracket did you guys manage to get the heat shrink in there too? I'm wondering if I need to trim it or keep shoving.

Try feeding a guide wire thru and use that to pull the other wires thru.

Be careful as I think that brown wires are the lights and turn signals. If you can find the british standard wiring colours you will see that there is standard that they follow. The black wires are ground and other colours are "hot" at some time.
