  1. That is me. I sold the Cobra to Carroll Shelby (really).
  2. If you like that track, give the Sheandoah Circuit at Summit Point a try. It is the most challenging track I have ever driven, but the concrete walls are sorta close in places for some people's preferences.

    crazy tires

And those tires cost >$1000 each and the rims are even more.
  4. It should be noted that the electric or electric hybrid cars have low CD's because they don't flow air through a raditor, or for the hybrids they flow far less air through a very small radiator. The air going through the radiator and hitting the firewall, is the biggest component of CD, which has nothing to do with the slipery shape of the car. The bottom and the firewall shape are important.
  5. That car has some very rare parts on it.

    WTF

Those people getting out of the car are idiots. In slow accidents like that, your safest place is belted in the drivers seat.
  7. This is the car that was protested. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q307/fia289/IMG_1993.jpg
  8. I have lots of miles at Summit Point, but not in a 7... yet....
  9. I am sure I will want to try to catch up with these guys. I live fairly near Willimasburg (where my wife lived when I met her). I had the idea of the kit, but the one that re-enforced it was Keith Tanner: >cheapsportscar.net I emailed him and he thought it would be two things, a reference and an inspiration. That model is mostly metal parts that bolt together with platic fenders, and some details, but it is an awesome kit. It is not cheap, but I think in the long run it will be worth what it costs. calvin2006-10-19 10:40:01
  10. No, not currently signed up. If I do, it sort of depends on where I am in the car build. I am in the early stages of the build. I know some of the people who are signed up though, one couple lives about 3 miles from my house. I could take my RX7 if the Locost is not complete. I am building rotary powered 7, that I want to be the size and shape of an original Lotus, but with wide wheels and other performance mods. I will be autocrossing the car and running some time trial events, but I do want it to still be street legal, even if I don't drive it on the street that much. I bought one of these very early in the process as a reference: http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/6535/10201wi4.jpg
