  1. This is peculiar. Car was in South Carolina, on eBay, now it's in Cumming, GA, on Craigslist. Is someone trying to flip this Seven? https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/5886380930.html
  2. This ad caught my eye. In my area too. Too bad I don't have the funds right now. https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/5391159560.html
  3. You didn't get my joke? Have you not seen Austin Powers? :jester:
  4. You mean this guy? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/73/Fat_bastard.jpeg
  5. I've had itch I have needed scratching since the Summer of 2012. I need to drive another Seven! In the USA, is there any driving school or experience day you can go to to blast around in a Seven? The Brits have that kinda thing. I'm not at a point in my life where I can practically own a Seven. That makes my desire for driving one even greater. Is there any reasonable venue that you can rent a Caterham/Birkin/Westfield Seven in the USA? :flag: There doesn't seem to be many Sevens in the Atlanta area. I've only seen one turbo'd Locost at SCCA Solo events. I've also seen one RHD Hayabusa powered Westfield. If you guys have any ideas or suggestions, I'm all ears. :bigear:
  6. If I were you, I'd keep the car. :driving: But that's not what we want to hear.
  7. Pardon my ignorance, I have little to none mechanical knowledge. I just know the cars I like and the engines I like! :auto: I was wondering if an AE86 engine would fit in a Caterham. I've heard that my car's engine (NC2 MX-5) can fit in a standard chassis with some slight modifications. I know the Duratecs are great, but what have you guys put in your Sevens? What have you considered putting in your Sevens? (Minus Stalkers, not trying to hate :leaving:) Thank you for your responses! :seeya:
  8. I'd have to agree with rnr.
  9. I live in Atlanta. I dropped by Mr. Alderman's shop while I was on a road trip. I really appreciate the offer. I don't have any plans for another road trip up North, but if something comes up, I'll be sure to contact you. I E-Mailed Mr. Alderman a couple months ago and didn't hear back from him. Is he doing alright?
  10. I'm new to this site and I think I'm going to enjoy my stay. I currently drive an NC MX-5, but my dream car is a Seven. Last year I took the test drive of my life in a 2003 Caterham SV. I still have dreams of driving it. I have to thank George Alderman for allowing me to get behind the wheel. I've never sat in a standard chassis Seven. I was wondering if I would fit. I'm 6'1" and 135 lbs. So it's just a question of height. Occasionally, I participate in the Atlanta Solo Events. So far, I've only seen a Hayabusa powered Westfield. For the time being, I'll be browsing around on the forums and drooling at pictures of beautiful Sevens. I need a college education before I can afford a Seven (I'm 18 years old), but I'll be sure to post my ride when I acquire it. :flag: Glad I found this site!
