  1. Off to the Google - thanks!
  2. Whatever Caterham put on the car; don't believe its a stock Ford ECU. Thanks!
  3. Figured it out. 5 shiny bolts and washers; I think M6 but not certain.
  4. Another question - the air intake bolts to attach the intake to the block - anyone know what size bolts they are and do they take a washer or crush washer? Looks like 5 bolts are required but I can't find 5 of the same bolt. Wondering if I have a shortage or if I'm missing a step.... Thanks! Dan
  5. Hi all, I'm in the process of prepping a new Duratec 2L crate engine for my build (Roadsport 175). The wire in the center of the pic linked below I believe comes out as I remember reading somewhere the knock sensor isn't used. Is that correct? Pic: http://danielfrye.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/2015-02-02-18.47.43.jpg Thanks! Dan
  6. That was me with the Lotus. Caterham is slowly getting done; travel for work and part shortages held me up for a bit but passed that now and getting the engine ready to go in this weekend. Hope to see you guys at some Seven / British car events soon.
  7. Hi all - hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm in the process of my build and struggling to make heads or tails of the instructions for the headlights and turn indicators. Couple challenges: - I've got the light apart, but don't see anywhere to attach the turn indicator to. Manual says to put the ring terminal onto the screw with the other black wires, but I don't have a black wire (mine's brown but assuming its the same) and there's no ring terminal on the end to attach to the screw. Along similar lines, where the heck does the red wire connect? - When feeding the wires down the chassis bracket did you guys manage to get the heat shrink in there too? I'm wondering if I need to trim it or keep shoving. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
  8. Edited, although you'll have to educate me on why the numbers are secret, wasn't aware of that before. As for the cars, not a huge deal. Was still a great party!
  9. Caterham USA; was ordered last August before the distribution swap. The weird part is the nose cone and fenders were the right color. You'd think someone would have been like 'hey, this doesn't match...' before it made it out of the factory. And yeah, was a little WTF moment- especially because there were 20 people who came over to watch this thing get unwrapped. Total buzzkill.
  10. Hi all - just got my 7 delivered this week. Was expecting a British racing green / yellow Roadsport... opened the box to find a red and white CSR. Looks like someone goofed at Caterham; this chassis ends in 85 and mine ends in 65. Anyone happen to end up with mine? I'll trade ya pictures if you did...
