  1. Thanks everyone, It's nice to know I'm not paranoid. Seems like all agree to take the pad key, the ignition key and the steering wheel. Good advice from all.
  2. Well it's been a couple of weeks since I got my new Caterham and it seems I've developed this paranoia about parking my car for lunch. Having spent some time at the race track where it's known that every driver has a not so amusing mean streak in them They would steal the pad key. It didn't help that Top Gear guys would make a joke about it and advertise to the whole world on how to remove said key. So I'm asking all of you what do you do? Take the key or leave it?
  3. I would like that but with all the other things on with the car I'm thinking it might be a few weeks. I'll get back with you soon.
  4. Guys, I'm not sure i'll be ready to drive soon, I'm having some trouble registering and emission issues. There not a big problem but time consuming. Utah has a law that any outside the state cars have to go through our health department emissions test. You have to call and make an appointment. I've done that for next week and i hope that goes smooth. then it's off to the hills! Tony was not wrong when he said it was a fast car. Scary fast to be exact and i've owned some fast cars. I ordered new avons from Roger Krouse and I should have them ready for next week also. Pic below is my garage partner and myself when we were racing at UMC or at that time Miller motorsports park.
  5. It arrived in my garage yesterday. Just like to thanks Tony for his help in making this possible.

  11. Thanks everyone it looks like I'm heading to the google maze.
  12. After reading the post I thought you might be telling about some actual parts stores. Its easy to google for the regular cars, such as Merc, Porsche, even Ford. My trouble is trying to find actually parts for the caterhams. Do you by chance have a list of part such stores? Looking for parts such as flywheels, wiring harnesses, ECU's. Thanks in advance. Frankie
  13. Thank you Croc! I'm going to take your advice and avoid the site. But like that say those prices were to good to be true!
  14. Im interested but its just out of my price range. I'm traveling to Vegas the 1st of November if the care is still around I would love to take a look at it. Thanks
  15. Since I've been looking for a 7 again I found a site called Trovit Car sales. The site is a collection of many sites that post sales for Caterhams and Sevens. Most of the ads I viewed looked good and reliable but a few really bothered me. I believe there are numerous ads that are scams. I'm asking has anyone dealt with this site or purchase anything from this site. I'm in process of an email thread with a owner and his ad sounds to good to be true. Would love some help if anyone has had dealings with this site. Thanks
  16. I'm looking to get back into racing with a super seven and what great surprise it was to see so many guys in Utah interested in these cars. I see there are a few 7's around the valley and would anyone be interested in letting me take a look at there car. Looking to start up in December for the 2015 season out at Miller so I have a little time to make my selection. I see automoda might have something to look at and would love to hear back from anyone who has Caterham or Birkin for sale.
