    Thanks for the input. I consider myself a pretty competent mechanic but, although I have a factory manual, I figured it might be best to let someone specifically experienced so as to have someone else to blame if something goes wrong. As I'm sure you're aware, extracting the rear is something you'd rather not do twice. Cheers Don

    Is there anyone out there who is able and willing to set up a LSD rear for my Seven? Actually a Cortina Mk. 2 rear. Bought a Quaife LSD from the UK but was surprised to find that no one I contacted was willing to set it up for me. I have a comprehensive shop manual but am reluctant to tackle it myself. I live in East Tennessee but am willing to travel or ship as needed. Thanks for any help and Happy Holidays to all my Seven brothers. Don

    Dave Bean in CA. is a good source for Seven springs. They can recommend and supply.

    I have a 10" wheel that I replaced on my Seven. Fits your specs except for the horn button accommodation. Pics below. Don

    Having trouble sourcing wiper arms for my 1962 Series 2 Seven. Anybody found anything that fits?

    Mine is RHD. The original engine, probably a non-crossflow 1500, has been replaced with a 1600 crossflow w/dual 40mm Dellortos. I'm currently looking to replace the Detroit locker diff with a standard (Cortina) unit. Anybody got one to trade or sell? Then I'll tackle the parking brake. I think I have all the parts but having a tough time figuring the install.

    I am also working on a '62 Seven (SB1211). Let's keep each other's address handy. Great pic of the emergency brake. I'm currently trying to rig mine up. Quite a challenge.

    Recently bought a 1962 Series 2 and would like to keep it relatively original. My door cards are black painted aluminum. I have found red/orange vinyl which is close to the original color but am undecided whether to cover the aluminum or use it for a pattern to recreate something closer to original. Anyone know what might have come with the car? Thanks for any help. Don

    One wonders why Dzus would have been retrofitted. Now if I install alternative fasteners I'm left with the holes. Thanks for the input.

    Have 8 Dzus fasteners holding down my Series 2 Seven bonnet. Is this original? Can't find any verification.

    Just bought a set of 185/60x14 Direzzas for my Series 2 Seven. Had them on a Miata and liked them a lot.

    I am currently converting a Seven race car for use on the street. I would like to trade/sell the tires/wheels for a more streetable set. I have American Racing Libre, cast aluminum, 13"x7" wheels. Approx. 5/8" neg. offset. Approx. 5" backspace. 4/108 bolt pattern. The tires are Toyo Proxes R888 205/60/13 86V. Everything is as new with less than 100 miles use. Would like to trade for wheels with standard offset or will sell outright. Open to all offers.
