I believe the color is the same as McLaren Orange...also very similar to the orange paint used on the interstate within construction zones ... I always joke that when I picked the color, in the back of my mind, when I get runover by an 18-wheeler on the interstate, my squashed demise will just blend in with other marks on the road

Hi Sadly I have to say goodbye to by 2018 Caterham 360S. My ‘stable’, according to my wife is only big enough for 1 toy. I have no idea what she is talking about but apparently, I must make attempts to placate! Double stacking is not an option! I purchased this kit in 2017/2018 through Bruce at Beachman Racing and have added a few extras … I think Bruce describes it as a 360+. I will post more photos etc, this initial post is just to start the ball rolling, again to placate my better half and show her I am making progress In the interim please free to PM me. Caterham 360+ (youtube.com)https://flic.kr/ps/3ssWFx Caterham 360S … circa 4K miles Caterham Duratec Engine Upgrade Kit (New cams and Roller Barrels) SV Chassis (I am not on the slim side!) Ballistic Orange (The wife describes it as my orange coffin!) Full Weather Kit 14" Classic Alloy wheels -185/60 tires Leather Seats Heater Carbon Dash Asking $41K Car Cover A Few extra Carbon bits of trim Caterham LED rear light kit. Titled/Registered in CT as a composite. Thanks Pickles

Hi Anybody even tempted by this IMHO should pull the trigger…thisis a great price…these go together like Lego so even for the technically challenged you will have a ball building it (I did!!) Hey if you live anywhere near CT I will come and help. I bought a 360 from Bruce a couple of years ago and it was ajoy to put together…I would do it again but “her in doors” has put the brakes on until I sell a few other toys. Long and short of it…if a little voice in the back of your brain is saying “Should I do this?” Just go for it!! And for the record … I am not associated with Beachman Racing other than a satisfied customer J Pickles -
Hi Bruce I can probably answer this question myself but thought I would ask anyways, what's the chance in that pile of new parts you have an upgrade kit for a Duratec to Roller Barrels/High lift cams. (Caterham Part EGR300STG2K) Thanks Paddy

Hi I told my other half that I had fessed up about my 50 yard journey before my car became an official collector car (You have to run behind it and ‘collect’ the bits that fall off…old English joke but for anybody who has ever owned an UK built car…you’ll know exactly what I mean) …she proclaimed “you exaggerate about everything in relation to size and distance … 50 yards!!! We did not even make it out of the driveway and that is barely 25 feet” She has a way of keeping me grounded!! Solved the speedo, it was a grounding issue. The weep of brake fluid is also solved…the supplied copper washers are slightly oversized, so unless you center them while tightening the fitting, gravity takes it course and off centers the washer. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=14250&stc=1 Of course when you solve one issue … you find another … the Fuel gauge reads zero…it sweeps when I turn on the ignition but that is the last movement it makes. Bumpers? I don't remember any bumpers

Hi Am done!!! 4 hours at DMV office I have plates!!! Rushed home put plate on car ... grabbed the missus ... and went out for first official trip and dinner. The plate fell off!! (What a complete wanker I am...did not get 50 yards needed to add nuts to my bolts!!) The gear knob spins annoyingly (Again use sentiment above...now where is that little grub screw to secure the gear knob?) The speedo stopped working at about same 50 yard mark (Appears common issue with grounding of speedo sensor...think I have it solved) Annoying brake fluid weep from front brake cylinder at pipe union. Not sure I can tighten this anymore so need to do more work on this. Still grinning ear to ear :driving: All the above probably needs some American translation so apologies in advance!! Pickles

Hi I think a lot of people use Sikaflex and glue the wings directly to the stays. I used Plexus ma300 and Bighead fasteners so I could use cable ties to easily remove the wings (Which I did several times during the build process) Have a look at the Lotus7.club website (Blatchat)...there are a lot of discussions on fitting etc. If you fancied going the Bighead route I do have a few sets left over. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=14238&stc=1 All the best Pickles

Whoot!! Whoot!! A Pass...just one more trip to DMV tomorrow to get the VIN assigned and Registered then I should be good to go. As a side I have for rent one set of very lightly used bumpers suitable for an SV! All the Best Pickles

Hi Was at CT DMV last week for inspection. A fail sadly....but to be honest I was expecting it. Needs bumpers and surprisingly US Spec seatbelts. So back to back to DMV next week...US spec lap belts and some fabricated bumpers...fingers crossed. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=14218&stc=1http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=14219&stc=1 Pickles

Hi SK400 I am near Mystic close to the RI border. I did a bit of research on the Montana LLC/Registration. The bit that got me worried was on the insurance side, so at the moment I think am going to proceed down the register in CT route. I fully expect one trip to the DMV will make me regret this decision. :-) Pickles

Hi Caterham 360 kit now complete...well almost...still got to complete the dreaded DMV Inspection here in CT :-) A special shoutout ot Bruce at Beachman Racing who got me into this car. Fantastic price and Service through the whole order/build process. Would not hesitate to recommend Bruce for anybody thinking (or even not thinking ) about acquiring a Caterham. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=13594&stc=1 All the best and happy motoring. Hi I went the kit option, rather than the rolling chassis...a 360s in balastic orange. Pickles

Hi Well knock me down with a feather !! I went from a “Caterham…No way can I afford it !! Have to move back to the UK” person , To a “Holy crap I have an order in!!!” person, within the space of a couple of days. Many thanks Bruce at Beachman Racing (And of course this fourm) Still don’t think ‘her indoors’ is that happy but compared to the price I was leading her to believe it would be, now I am approaching saint-hood (She still wants a Corvette…but what’s a guy to do) For all of the skeptics whose only source of pricing was the US Caterham website (Me included a week ago) Please reach out to Bruce… Trust me, you’ll be a lot happier…not sure about the wife :-) All the best Pickles
