  1. Yes indeed. Could have been way worse. I am really happy he is not getting this beauty. He does not deserve it at all. Hopefully it will be re listed by next week.
  2. My beautiful 1995 Caterham Seven Crossflow will be back on BaT at the end of the week or early next week. The buyer (sic) put me through hell for over 2 weeks. Won't go into the sordid details but he is never going to buy or sell another car through BaT and that is a good thing for all !!!! Aloha. Ray
  3. Damn...I thought it wasn't making reserve just 20 minutes to go...then....... Sad but extremely happy with the result. As someone mentioned...this was a unicorn and really deserved the price. Mahalo for all the kind words everyone.
  4. I agree...not a problem! Such a different car its not even close.
  5. A bit bummed they listed it 1 day before mine ended! Not sure a real Caterham buyer will care hopefully.
  6. Very interesting. Many thanks for the back story mate. Yes I think you are correct with the way this one came about. I spoke to the guys at TMW and it sounded like this one was a special build. Aloha!
  7. With regards the fuel filler. I have never had any issues with this. No aromas in the garage. No leaking or overflowing. And it does give extra space in the "trunk" and no staining on the back from over filling! As regards this configuration. This was called a US Race but it does not match the description that @IamScotticus gave above. Mahalo for all the input and info.
  8. Mahalo Jim. The Alfa sold yesterday to a guy who came to see the Cat!!!! Lovely man who has several classics. The Caterham auction ends Friday so we will see what happens. I would love for it to stay in this state. Actually I would love to take it with us but our new home really is not conducive to owning a Seven. But whoever buys it is getting a very special Seven. Not too many like this in original condition with these super low miles! Going to take it for a last drive today to make some videos for BaT. Aloha!
  9. Hi brother. Yes it would. I think the Alfa will stay but not sure about the Seven. I do have someone coming over to look from BaT who lives here part time so you never know! Thanks for the well wishes Jim. I hope you are well. Once the cars are sold we will be ready to leave ....so very excited! Aloha!
  10. No way!!!!! That is so cool. But this is killing me brother!
  11. Have you ever put something up for sale that you hope does not sell!!!!!! No...it has to go but....ouch it hurts.
  12. It is a 1600. I have all the build receipts and engine test data. A very sad day for me. Cant believe I am having to sell it after waiting so long to buy one again.
  13. No idea. He told me they are not making for Pegasus anymore.
  14. I called them and was told they no longer sell wires as their maker stopped making!
  15. So it seems that Pegasus no longer sell plug wires!
