  1. Finished painting and now it has been rainy for 3 weeks, so it is sitting in storage. It has good company though.
  2. Just need to do some wet sanding, polishing now and a good cleaning. This summer when it is to hot or next winder I will take the front apart and black out the suspension and headlights.
  3. Must resist, just repainted mine. A green and yellow one would match my new paint scheme.
  4. I changed my interior to black but yes I have had a Code Brown incident in mine.
  5. You are going to want to get rid of that vent on the left side. The previous owner of mine put one on the right side about the same place. Aerodynamically all that hot air is going to swirl right into the cockpit. Without a windshield to push the air over the top of you about your only option is to bottom breathe it. Edit, Congratulations on finding one! I was looking at normal 7s and not ready to buy when I ran across mine. I did not pass it up realizing these do not come up for sale that often.
  6. Came home early today to clear coat. Unmasked the yellow and only had 2 places needed to clean up the lines in the radius on the front. Activated the first batch of clear and was doing final inspection and did not like a couple of places. Canceled painting for today to wait for the green to do another coat. Luckily only activated a little over 1/2 qt. A couple of good things is now I am thinking of doing a 25% clear on the last coat of green to deepen the metallic. Also thinking of adding an accent yellow stripe in the paint scheme while I am waiting on the new paint.
  7. Started putting color on. Thought I had enough green but ran out, was 2 front fenders short.
  8. They left the Jeep out. The Viper should not be there because its drag is functional.
  9. Decided since the belly had some scratches and dents that no one will ever see I should fix them. Has some extra coating from doing the inside of the fenders. Clean sanded and filled a couple small dents. Did a light coating.
  10. I do need to update, right now sanding everything down to repaint. Going back with a more traditional 7 paint scheme. I already have a yellow car so this one is being changed to Motor Sports Green Metallic B75, with the yellow nose and stripe. The stripe will be the same color, 2004 mustang Screaming yellow D6 since I already have that yellow.
  11. Now I just need to install a shift boot. Going to make the surround out of the left over CF from the dash.
  12. Yes it is a R160. Searching around this looks like a common failure of this diff.
  13. Some more progress. Since the stock rear diff was spitting teeth I have replace the LSD with an MFactory one. The seats and center console are done. I have covered the back sides in carpet. The floor I have done in truck bed coating. Placed the seats and seatbelts in to see the look. I am happy with the colors I have picked out. Need to get the center cover installed, seats permanently installed and rear end alignment. Then it will be ready to drive agin.
  14. Ok got everything working. Seats are at the interior shop so can not test the MPH reading yet. Calibrated the Fuel gauge and temp sensor. Wired in Alt out, L and R turn signals. Programmed oil pressure warnings. Still need to wire in oil temp later.
  15. More progress with the keyless system. Have it wired in and working. Removed the breakers and installed 3 fuse blocks. 1 for battery, 1 for accessory and 1 for ignition. The battery shutoff is now a real shutoff and kills power to everything. As soon as the key moves it wakes up and activates the system to go into Acc mode. Now just need to wire in the brake light and get the sensors working for the ECU master so I can do an engine start.
