  1. I have my 93 Cat 7 HPC insured with State Farm, $40,000 agreed value for around $350.00 per year.
  2. Check photos 103 and 105, I believe they show the windshield and the hood.
  3. I'm in the market for a half hood, or bikini top if you use american muscle car lingo, to fit a 93 Caterham HPC Evo. The distance from the top of the wind shield to the top of the roolbar is 850 mm. Thanks!
  4. I was surprised that my insurer,{ State Farm}, was able to offer me the best rate, and most comprehensive coverage. I tried to work with Grundy, and Haggerty, but my local agent worked out the best. Sorry to hear that you had such issues. I'm also sorry to hear that titling it in NY was a hassle, I anticipated problems when I tried to title my recently purchased 7 in Colorado, but it only took(!) 3 hours at the DMV, where I had to explain the " replica" notation on a previous title, and convince them that it was a kit car so I wouldn't have to pass Colorados stringent emission standards. No one ever said that owning a car like this was easy!
  5. Yes, Josh used Ram to transport my car. The only hiccup was that they arrived at my house 4 hours ahead of schedule, and I wasn't available. Luckily, they were able to drop my car at Josh's shop!
  6. Thanks to all that replied! Intercity was the most expensive, Reliable had loong lead time, and mistakenly trying Shipply resulted in a ton of useless quotes. Josh at Rocky Mt. Caterham coordinated shipping using his shipper, who moves a lot of 7's, everything went very smoothly! Thanks Josh!!
  7. So i just purchased https://usa7s.net/ips/profile/4009-stang70fastback/ 7, and I'm looking to have it shipped from Chicago to Denver, any suggestions for a shipping company that you have used? Thanks!
  8. I did follow through on the purchase, and it will be coming to Denver, where I look forward to working with Josh at Rocky Mountain Caterham. I have to give huge props to the seller, he has been meticulous in his maintenance, upgrades, and in creating some great custom interior trim. He also bent over backwards to work with me ,and accommodate my many questions, and extended time frame. After multiple owners, the attention to detail that he applied, has this limited production HPC EVO, ( 1 of 5 in the US, according to Caterham archives), looking like it had only been test driven from new. I've been searching for just the right spec 7 for several years, and this one fits the bill, and more! I'm sure that as I dig deeper into this great car, I will be asking lots of questions on this forum, (probably some really stupid ones!), and after multiple years of gaining valuable insight from reading tons of posts here, I hope to be able to contribute to the ongoing discussion!
  9. I love the idea of both heat , and AC!
  10. I understand your concern. I'm flying to Chicago tomorrow to try on, and hopefully finalize, a purchase. I own 2 Europa's that are a tight fit, but are roomy in comparison!
