I occasionally get stuck in 2nd and need to open the transmission and break loose the center selector rod. This is annoying, but easy to fix. Then its good for a few weeks. Could this be the same issue? 61 S2 7, not sure which ford transmission I have STANCART 1 st gear has syncro

Thanks. Oil is 20w50 Driven Racing Oil GP-1 (recommended by Ivey), trans is redline, will get the gear oil next.
