  1. Very pretty. What red is this ?
  2. Ah the colors .. Yes oslo and ferrari red are great for sure The cat 420 cup albert blue will match my gt4rs albert blue and they will get along well in the garage
  3. The build:
  4. Yes for sure, would be great. I won't get it until late spring 2027... I could still enjoy as a passenger or just follow, if you don't mind an Albert Blue Porsche GT4Rs in the train.
  5. Will hit the usual local tracks: Laguna and Sonoma and ...perhaps THill with a trailer. I am in the South Bay I should have it in April-May-June 2027 ? Then the fun SB100 project will start...
  6. I have settled on albert blue (porsche) with hypergreen cage FIA and track day and carbon wings, 2 sets of wheels etc. 250HP mountune Sadev, 2.0 duratec. SHOULD be special Here is an AI rendering with the weather equip.
  7. Does this/your cage allows to mount a windscreen ?
  8. TYSM. Good to know. I will ask caterham
  9. Hey, what cage is this ? Its the easy ingress track day but with the outside bar by the door for lateral impact
  10. A few more Hmm Just curious what you guys think
  11. I played with some colors for a custom paint for the 420 cup I am specing
  12. I see that even in the UK race series , most if not all participants have the tillet seat. They prob have to. Not to say it is necessary a good idea, but would it be possible to place a full containment seat instead in a sv chassis to get even better protection ? Has anyone done this ? Thanks F.
  13. Interestingly, yesterday, I saw in a cat with the trackday (easy access) cat with lower floor I am 5.9, short legs...i guess and long torso and my helmet would indeed easy touch the top curve bar, so Helmet needed on the street, even in the easy access harness. Therefore if indeed a helmet is really recommended with any cage config, I might just get the race cage for additional side impact protection. I suppose that if you have the wind deflector inly, you really want an helmet and more that just eye protection. How do you guys typically drive your car based on the cage and or windscreen or wind deflector config ? Thanks F
  14. On the same theme, if anyone in the SF Bay Area has a cat with a cage of some sort, please let me know. I think it is indeed a very good idea to check head clearance, ease of ingression etc F.
  15. Thanks. I am familiar with cages, Hans and 6 point Harness. I used to race SMT and porsche SPB. I assume the recommendation to wear a helmet is the same (for road driving) whether is is the sport cage and race cage isn't it ? The track day cage doesn't have the lateral bar, which I presume is the bar the head could hit. I don't know what clearance there is under the lateral bar... In the SMT, I had a drop pan, for this reason, which I am specing for the 420 cup. Am I understanding correctly ? F
