We’ve had the joy of having this bucket list ride in our garage for more than a year. It’s been a long dream to get into the nuts and bolts a bit with a Seven. Sorting her after three years in storage and doing some modifications has been some fun garage time. Received her with 0008 miles, no pulls until after 500 miles, sitting near 750 now. At this point I’m starting to get the feel for this car, getting more comfortable exploring. It draws you in, wants to go and lets you know. I have a good idea of where I’d go with a more serious round of customizations, but it seems a good time to hand her over to another. I’m drawn to getting my Lotus track car rolling again and streetable. Just got her to a Cars & Coffee last Saturday after a decade still. I could use the garage space to help a pal with a Europa project too. Pretty much everything that I’ve done with this car has been documented on this site. Drives better than new, broken in and ready for grins. Looking for $75K Not easy to push the button to let this one go.

Put the Elise into a tire wall at Carolina Motorsport Park many years back, cold February track and only my second season tracking her. Remarkable how well those tire walls “catch” you. Tires fly up and you just stop. It all worked out very well, was down for a roll cage install by Kirt Wightman in two weeks so we just took her trailer down to the Road Atlanta area that day. Commemorated by a plaque in the garage

There were 14 Lotus at Lotus’ factory parking lot.

Replaced the standard roll bar in our new 360R with the track version, powdercoated. So the original is available. It’s pretty much as new, less than 500 easy miles. The car originally built with the Beachman Racing third brake light installed.
