My son had one. Felt old school.

First NC Inspection passed. Went in a month early in case there was an issue. Indeed an initial fail but the car (shamefully) had like 375 miles in a year. But after 100 miles on the parkway etc she passed. Relieved, was prepared to petition the DMV for an exemption.

C&C at Prescott Auto Reserve this morning. Uglyfast just back from driving Scotland. Discussed getting a group of 7 folks to tour N Scotland

Yes we all studied on that one. Could still get invisible fingerprints on it?

Europas that have graced our garages, as well as the Sevens

That sounds ideal. We used to have a bunch that would rent VIR for a day. Lodging and a good dinner for $200 -

Well, we can only learn our limits by exceeding them. You know a lot. No, seriously, I tracked our Elise 102 days at Road Atlanta and VIR. Attended a soectator a number of local auto cross events. My car was pretty well set up for it, but I never got around to doing it. Just seemed like an awful lot of time to be there for not much time on the circuit. If you could pay a few hundred dollars and get like 20 runs? But anyway, I applaud your courage to take on the cones and your willingness to reveal these photographs to us all 😊 -

What’s her VIn? -
Soft Bits half hood. The pics were taken as it would be when you’re using it, just got out for the view.

For those dollars almost want to get one just to see how good it might be. Could put up four or five.

The little changes add up. Been most of a year now since this little beast came to our garage. In this picture changed the steering wheel, harness, all mirrors, 12V adapter, fuel gauge mod, striping, phone holder, half hood. But today added this emblem to the steering wheel. An Ebay nosecone emblem, probably a knock off. The 7 is flat while the one on the nose is 3D. Still looks good, ain’t no Bentley. Flat black paint on the MOMO and it’s an improvement. Now to figure how to sew a red stitch like in the Honda Si in the background 🤔

Black Beauty (her name from before my garage) had the best ergonomics for me of any car I’ve ever driven, even if your feet are skewed a bit to starboard. The layout made great sense, decent luggage allowance and a spare tyre. To my eyes one of the best body designs ever. And arguably the most fun to drive in it’s responsiveness. These pics from LOG 34 in A’ville. Bob Dance checking her out. We’d met him a in 2012 at Classic Lotus in Hethel, after Lotus were the featured marque at Goodwood Festival of Speed. Getting three cars ready to show was a fun day. -

The “Picture I took of my car today” thread revealed that some of us have shared time with a Europa. Here’s Black Beauty 3841R again. Brought her home on my 55th birthday. Dad owned some Dodge and Plymouth dealerships back in the muscle car days. Once when I was about 20 I was out with Dad buying cars. We went to a Ford dealer somewhere and there sat a perfect JPS. Dad knew that was my dream car. And that I knew he could buy it for me. We were there to buy cars, but cars to sell for profit. Dad said, and I told this at his funeral. “You’ll have to do that for yourself son”. It took 35 years but it came true. Thank you Dad for helping me believe it could happen. There are other stories with this wonderful little car. I am sure that everyone who posts here about their Europa wishes they knew where she was now. I titled this including that we have had a Seven in our garage at some point too. So the thread might not get scarce so quickly
