  1. Hi Guys, Just about to paint my frontsuspension on my Seven, and even though the original Lotus color is grey I fancy the black one that Caterham uses. But does anyone know what the original colorcode for the Caterham chassis is? I know it is some sort of black..but not what exactly which one (I'm thinking it could be super satin, satin, matte etc.) / Rune:flag:
  2. Hi Craig, Thanks a lot!:flag:
  3. Hi Craig, Sounds like an awesome project you have there! If I didn't already have an early Caterham I would jump on this one! However, I hope you will take the time to answer me on one simple question. You see I'm currently trying to get a specific date on when my chassis is from (it has been re-newed at some point), and from what I can conclude from the frame and joints, it is an early one, probably around late 70's or early 80's. My question is: What is your framenumber, and where is it stamped in on the chassis? Reason for asking is that if I have your number, I will have a fair chance of getting an estimate on whether or not mine is from that era. I have tried Arch Motors, Lotus, and Caterham without any luck. Hope you can help me BR Rune
  4. downforce equipment ! awesome isn't it?
  5. Mine has 61K on it..though I've only done about 1.2K in since I bought it about 3 months ago... What a GREAT summer for a 21 year old kid!
  6. Right now, I more than ever, hate that we don't have hooters in Denmark!!!
  7. hehe yeah now you have an instruction video. I have never used my top though...you're always driving so fast that the rainddrops don't even get into the cokpit hehe:drool:
  8. Hehe so true..so true:drool:
  9. i know, when i did it I thought to my self "arh daamn!" but you know. 2?..I can see how you can get the first person in, but the 2. must be a little difficult. How about how fast to get in or out? any records? anyone?
  10. Thanks a lot:) Haha not a bad idea at all. I've also spent all my college money on the car so, could really use some:P I have attached a picture..hope its ok? It is the original S3 taillight (at least the brake light), but the rubberpack isn't. The rubberpack should be a little uneven, so that when you putt it on the rearfender, that bends, the taillight should be horizontal. If anyone knows where to find such a rubberpack, I would like to know:) /rune
  11. Hi MHKflyer Thanks a lot! As you probably have seen also, I posted a Thread were all the information you asked about are mentioned( http://www.usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=4096 ) I realised there was such a "Members rides" after I had posted the pictures in this thread. But a orginal 1969 S3, original 1600 x-flow engine The MG A next to my Seven, is my dads. I still live home, so I can borrow the garage. He actually got it just about a year ago, bought it in California, and got it shipped to Denmark, were we live. The MG is also a great car, but not nearly as ultimate and raw as the Lotus:) /rune
  12. Thanks for that! Since it is from argentina..Isn't that one of the South American Sevens (as you said the chassis may have been the only one sold to south america)? They build Sevens on a liscense? (as one stated in another thread yesterday?)
  13. @ slngsht & 11Budlite Thanks a lot:) I really enjoy it. The best car I've ever bought:P @ solder_guy okay okay I will try and see what I can find out.
  14. Thanks a lot... Just to prove that a 74 inches tall man actually CAN get into a Seven with a roof on.. Future buyers shouldn't be "scared":smilielol5:
  15. THanks a lot Valenz I will try to find some equipment to record the engine noise. I have some sort of newer Caterham exaust system on, which goes all the way back to the rear of the car, so it doest sound of much...I've considered getting a sidepipe, but again, then it may not be so fun to cruise around in (as it is now, i can cruise around a whole day, without ruining my ears:P) /Rune
