  1. Turns out we can still get last minute tix/passes. Email me at webguy"at"gglotus.org Cheers, Kiyoshi
  2. Ticket/Pass ordered is now closed. Thanks to all that ordered. We'll be placing our order with SCRAMP later today. I would expect to see the tickets/passes from them sometime in late June or early July. Cheers, Kiyoshi
  3. And for that reason the deadline has been extended. TODAY May 26 is the LAST day to order tickets/passes. Cheers, Kiyoshi
  4. Quick reminder... The deadline for Ticket and Corral Pass orders with the GGLC is this Weds May 25th. Thanks, Kiyoshi GGLC Webguy (and past 7 owner)
  5. Email was sent out concerning Priority Mail to all those who have purchased tix/passes. Please reply to the message if you prefer Priority Mail vs. 1st class. Reminder - deadline is 7 days from now for making your purchase. Cheers, Kiyoshi GGLC Webguy
  6. Last year the GGLC received our lot of tickets & passes by the end of July and we able to distribute them well in advance. I suspect that we'll see the same this year because we need to get our order in at least 2 weeks earlier than 2009. The biggest issue was the USPS, which has been been reliable lost at least 3 sets last year. I'd hate to see a repeat because the alterative is shipping by FedEx or certified mail which would add at least $10 to every purchase. Worst case scenario is we can look into finding a member in the Salinas area willing to help distribute the tickets by hand on Friday. Kiyoshi
  7. Ah, I see I caught this a bit late. Had I seen in time I would have said the GGLC can take a personal check. Feel free to email me to get the mailing address. Cheers, Kiyoshi GGLC Webguy webguy"at"gglotus.org
  8. Just a reminder to place your ticket and Lotus/GGLC Corral orders by May 25th!!! Cheers, Kiyoshi GGLC Webguy
  9. The GGLC has a BCI size chart for most standard car batteries. The shortest batteries are a bit under 7" tall. http://gglotus.org/ggtech/battery-bci/battery-bci-size.htm Cheers, Kiyoshi
  10. Between the Historic F1 races and all of Gurney's Eagles it will be a spectacular event. As a reminder the GGLC needs your ticket and corral pass order by May 25th. (sorry - deadline to order tickets has passed) We use PayPal for payment. Cheers, Kiyoshi GGLC Webguy
  11. David, What type of ignition are you running? FI or carb? Cheers, Kiyoshi
  12. rnr, You could have built the roll-cage with 3" exhaust tubing!!!! Chapman would have been proud! Kiyoshi

Hey Dean! If only my garage were larger.... It would be really awesome to magically replace one of the Elans with a Seven! BTW... I still have a Loooooong wish list! Cheers, Kiyoshi P.S. Not sure if I can get to PA for LOG this year, but I'm going to try.

What I described was more like a "Dead TAB" and not a "pedal". I had it riveted to one of the uprights in the chassis. I think Lotus stole my idea because the "dead pedal" in my Elise is only about 50% larger! I'm nearby. I'm sure your folks would love to have you closer to home! Cheers, Kiyoshi
  15. Rahul, If you can get to the rear of the car it will give you more options and the ability to point the tailpipe to the left (away from the sound station). I think you can find enough clearance along the right side of the tub, notch the inside of the rear wing, then go under the diff and under the tank (you may need to shield the tank). Cheers, Kiyoshi

Thanks for the warm welcome! In an ideal world the current owner of my old Seven would sell it back to me! But, he loves the car... but I can dream. Selling it was a tough decision, no regrets, it was a dual purpose car street & track, but I decided I needed a dedicated track car and something tamer on for the street (since my brain would switch to race mode anytime I was behind the wheel of the Seven). Hi Geoff!!!! Dead pedal - Ha!!! It was a 1" x 1.5" piece of aluminum angle riveted to the side of the foot box! I had to fold the inside edge so as not to catch my shoe. I got a ride in an Atom a couple weeks ago at Laguna and it sooooo reminded me of my Seven. And rekindled the "itch" (does it EVER go away?) Unfortunately I'll just have to dream until my resources improve (in start-up mode = lots of work & no pay). Cheers, Kiyoshi

Greetings, I finally got around to joining. While I'm Seven-less for the moment, I long to have another. I dearly miss my old S2 Seven. I did a ground up restoration and then drove on the street & track for years. Restoration Story Anyway, here are a couple photos of my old Seven. Cheers, Kiyoshi
  18. Hello, To add to what rnr said about the GGLC/Lotus Corral. There is a ordering deadline that SCRAMP (the track) has set to order tickets & passes. Please note that ticket and corral pass orders must be placed by May 25th, 2010. Because of changes set by the organizers it is unlikely the GGLC will be able to get extra corral passes or tickets after the deadline. Cheers, Kiyoshi
