  1. Thanks. I loose more cars and their drivers just after they hit 88mph though!
  2. I have met with Dick Brink at BirkinUSA and am working on some details about becoming a dealer although if I can make a deal with Tom at Manik about bringing in some Westfield SEights or Sport Turbos I may go that route.
  3. :willy_nilly::willy_nilly::willy_nilly: Forgot to renew with GoDaddy over the weekend. It is up now just checked, clear your cookies. Thanks.
  4. www.10motorworks.com I also sent you a PM.
  5. http://www.10Motorworks.com I will have a dedicated Birkin or Westfield site soon as I am still working out the details with my business associates.:cooldude:
  6. So why not go with a SOHC 5.0 with aluminum heads. It would be way cheaper than a LS1, LS2 and any LSX. Parts are easy to find and many used performance parts available as well.
  7. Angel here. I am a hot rod and restoration shop owner (10 Motorworks) in Hialeah Florida. I am a commercial artist by trade turned wrench and tuner by passion. Muscle cars have been my life as well as short drag racing stint (lack of $$$). A couple of years ago we built a Factory Five Cobra at the shop for client and since have had the bug to carve cones and corners. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for British cars and was fortunate enough to get behind the wheel of a genuine Lotus seven. The nimbleness, responsiveness and ability to stick through the corners was unreal. Since then I have been hooked on them and have chosen to build Seven replicas at our shop. Look for us to have three available before the end of this year. Two road cars and one track monster.
  8. About fifteen years ago we used to have SCCA Solo events at the old Hialeah Park parking lot and then tried them at OpaLocka Airport on one of the runways. Both these great facilities are available as well Countyline Dragway which has a drifting track that can be rented for a very reasonable fee. I was at the Se7enfest in Fort Worth earlier this year and met a great group of people and I would like to expand on the places where other enthusiasts can meet and run their cars.
  9. We are getting set up to build Birkins and have meet with Dick Brink who is also a great guy and has been a tremendous help. We are in the Miami area and even though it is a couple of hours South. we will be promoting a few meets a year at Homestead and Palm Beach International in the near future.
  10. I do not own a Stalker but have driven one and also several Caterhams and Birkins. I never noticed excessive heat from either car but I also have to wear racing shoes for my size 12's to work the pedals. I can however recommend a product called LizardSkin to coat the undercarriage and/or transmission tunnel. It is a coating that can be sprayed on or rolled on and forms a heat barrier and noise insulator. We build kit cars and hot rods and have used this product in the past and have wonderful results. It is a little on the expensive side but it does work and is very easy to use. It made my race car feel more like it had all the factory insulation.
