Pre-litigation Westfield Sevens

I'm looking to communicate with other owners of pre-litigation Westfield Sevens who may be interested in putting together a register of these early Westfields.

 

I recently acquired the first Westfield Seven from its one and only owner. This car in England originally carried the plate "NDH 71J" and is featured in early magazine road tests of the Westfield Seven.

I own a pre-lit Westfield that I bought "new" back in the 80's from a car dealer in Roanoke, Va. I'm the original owner of the car.

I have a 1987 pre-lit that now has a post-lit fibreglass body. Car is in Toronto Canada and was imported from Scotland 3 years ago. Have complete history and pics of modifications from the beginning.

Hey, thanks Croc for the mention, have been off line working on my new Renault R-5 turbo 2. But still in the game here. Just picked up a very early Birkin with a 4AGE motor . To answer your original question, yes I have 2 pre lits. I presently have serial # 7 and serial # 114, please feel free to contact, and hope be back more often now my Gallic Stormer is on the road

I don't know what years they are, but there is a Westfield with Toyota engine in Warner, Oklahoma, and an unfinished one in Leawood, Kansas.

Not sure I believe the 1999 construction but that was likely just when IL assigned a state VIN on transfer.

 

If the Westfield experts decide this is not a pre-lit then I will remove this post to avoid confusion with genuine pre-lits

Yes it is a prelitigation Westfield. It lives in Belleville IL. It was assembled prior to 1999 but very poorly, with scrap bits. The current owner bought it and completely rebuilt it properly. It is a beautiful and well built car. The current owner has had a long involvement in Road racing and race car prep and maintenance. He raced Formula Ford, Sport 2000, Super Ford, Super Vee and Vintage Formula Atlantic. This Westfield was built with that care and knowledge.
