Virgin Galactic's White Knight 2 and Spaceship 2 rendezvoused with a commercial flight over San Francisco. They landed on parallel runways at San Francisco but that part is not shown in this video.

Skip, thanks for sharing. Over the years, I've done several parallel approaches into SFO with other aircraft . . . . but never with a spaceship. That's sommething you just don't see everyday.

I found the parallel landing video. It was obviously set up by Virgin America and Galactic about three years ago to celebrate the opening of their new terminal at SFO.

 

 

After champagne with Buzz Aldrin and Richard Branson at 30,000 feet, our flight landed in parallel with Virgin Galactic's White Knight and Spaceship 2 on our way into the new SFO Terminal 2. April 6, 2011.
