WTB: Rotus windshield assembly.

I'm looking for a windshield assembly for my recently acquired Rotus. It has a shorter windscreen and non-original frame installed and I would like to have a full-height windshield and proper frame. If anybody knows someone who may have one where to possiblt source one, please let me know.

Jack at Kinetic Vehicles bent a custom frame for my Ultralite S2K to my specifications. He has two extrusions types with square or rounded edges. Frame looks great, reasonable price and a very nice fellow to deal with. Also has a lot of Locost 7 parts.

Dan, a custom frame for you would be no problem, drop me a line via email. Are there pics of your car somewhere so I can see what your stanchions look like?

 

The channel is 5/8" x 5/8", 1/8" web (that is, it has a 3/8" wide slot down the middle that's 1/2" deep). Go to the parts page that xcarguy linked to (two posts above this one) and click on Windshields and Radius Edge Channel, and you'll learn more than you ever wanted to know about my windshield mounting stuff.

Jack, I too have an Ultralite S2k and am interested in a conventional windshield to replace the brookland screens. Wondering if you have a photo of the one you built for US Texas 7?
