A plate to match the contours or bridge is usually welded on to the axle. For gears, maybe tr7, but that requires different axles and machine work. That to a local vintage racer. That to a local vintage racer. like the idea of welding the crack and adding a bridge across the diff to each side of the axle. May have to suck up the gearing issue. Thanks for the help.
