MudHut
Since it's getting colder here in Virginia and I'm still waiting on the DMV for a proper title for my S2K, I've been tinkering with the car a bit. The previous owner cut an access panel in the driver's formed, plastic foot well covering. I'd like to purchase another if possible to replace this one. Does anyone have knowledge about this still being a possibility? I'm not opposed to fabricating another out of light gauge metal, but the original would be nice. Thanks, Jay Hogan

Mondo
Yeah, I have power pedals and there's a big rod that slide out the front of that cover... someday want to figure a way to seal all that up; mainly from the heat. Probably should buy one of those circle vents that twist open and closed to let heat in in the winter time.
jimrankin
Might be nice if West Texas would provide some kind of list of what parts he still has for sale. I'm kind of thinking about making a windshield, side curtains and a top but original parts would be much easier. When it's too cold I just wear my helmet now but would rather some actual wind and maybe rain deflection as I really don't like driving with the helmet on the street, too sight restrictive and I already get enough people staring without adding a racing helmet to the "WTF" is that looks. Mondo
I bought the soft top when I got the car. I was told it's all there but needs some final adjustments. Never put it on. I'm keeping mainly for resale but if you need a template (top, doors, metal frame etc..) your welcome to borrow it. I'm about 20 minutes from Buttonwillow, in Bakersfield. PM me. jimrankin
Hi Mondo, Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet when I was at Button Willow, maybe this year... Anyway, thanks for the offer. I think surfmonkey got a complete uninstalled set of everything when he bought an S2K last year and he's less than an hour away. I'll check in with him and confirm.
