Riveting Question

[Cranky]

I need to rivet a few snap poppers to my car to connect door straps. I've never riveting anything before. Will a tool like this do the job:

Not familiar with the one linked one but if you have more than a few rivets to set (and a compressor), a pneumatic one is MUCH nicer to use. I have been using a rather cheap one from Harbor Fright and it works O.K. for reasonable money.

For something simple like this I would just go to your local Ace hardware and buy the rivet puller they sell there. It works fine and it's cheap. I wouldn't want to pull hundreds of rivets with it but for general repairs they work more then fine.

Agree with the Ace hardware/Home depot suggestion. Try to find one with a rotating head. Makes it easier to get into awkward positions. Check out this one:
