Supercharged Cadillac STS-V, Eddie and Ercie Hill's personal car, for sale.

The most powerful Cadillac ever built at the time, powered by a supercharged and intercooled 4.4 liter Northstar double overhead camshaft, variable cam timing, V-eight with 469 HP and 439 ft.lbs., and six-speed automatic that is driver-selectable for either automatic or manual shift mode, should you want to shift it yourself.

French-stitched beautifully grained leathers for the top of the dash, the center console, and the door panels.

It has larger Brembo brakes, larger 10 spoke alloy wheels, 18x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rear, with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that I installed only a couple thousand miles ago, with no measurable wear yet.

The STS-V has a faster steering ratio and stiffer suspension than the standard STS, and the performance, braking, and handling is thrilling, beyond anything I ever expected with a four-door.

This is the 2006 model, the silver four door, with black interior. This has been our personal car for the last several years, and I absolutely love it. It is by far the coolest looking, fastest, best handling, most exclusive, and with the most amenities, of any sedan I've ever had.

I have never felt the need to personally check it, but Wikipedia quotes the 0-60 as 4.8 seconds. That might be a little better with the stickier Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires I now have on the car, which are higher traction than the factory equipped tires.

However, the need to carry more than than Ercie and me has never materialized, and we have never had anyone ride in the rear seat. So I am going back to my preference for a smaller, two-door (or no-door) car. I have had one Mustang, fourteen Corvettes, and four Ariel Atoms, so smaller and lighter is my preference, if I don't need the passenger capacity.

The new price on this STS-V was over $77,090, and it has the performance and features to justify the price. There were 1,306 of these built for this 2006 model year, and total production over four years was 2,503, so these are quite rare, and I have never seen another one anywhere.

Voice recognition system, which allows for hands-free operation of navigation, phone, audio system, climate controls, windows, OnStar, and memory features. Merely touch the talk symbol on the steering wheel, release it when you hear the beep, then merely speak your commands! This is great fun to play with! It does not always recognize 100% of my Texan enunciation, but a great feature!

It comes with the books, manuals, and service records, and smells nice inside. I don't take it out if there is any rain in the area, and I have never parked it outside overnight.

The car had two previous owners, but before buying, I personally did a thorough inspection and road test of the car, and we would not have bought it if we had had any concerns whatsoever with the condition of the car, or the treatment by previous owner.

If you happen to be a vereran drag racing fan, you may recognize Eddie and Ercie Hill as the only team to have ever won the Top Fuel Championship on land AND water, and, if not, you can Google "Eddie and Ercie Hill", or "Eddie FourFather Hill", for our credentials.

Ercie and I will be happy to include an autographed die cast replica of our top fuel car, and an autographed diecast replica of our dragster transporter eighteen-wheeler.

The car has 83,640 miles on it, and we are offering it for sale at $19,980. That is over $57,000 off of the new price, and is an awful lot of performance, comfort, luxury, and exclusivity for the money!

Thanks for looking,

Regards,

Eddie FourFather Hill
