inchoate Posted July 6, 2017 Share Posted July 6, 2017 I'm looking for a new set of tires for my '88 Caterham. It's a sunny day street car so I don't need anything too crazy. It's currently wearing 185/60R14s and the selection I've been able to find is not great in that size. Tirerack has the Dunlop Direzza zii star spec in that size and if I go to a 195 width I could get the Falken Azenis. Does anyone have a strong opinion about either of these choices? Is there somewhere else I should be looking? The Falkens are priced really nicely at that size so I'm sort of tempted to go that way but I'll happily spend more if someone can suggest something better.
