Kitcat
I like to say that the only thing I haven't had to fix/replace on my Caterham is the battery. Of course I am kidding-sort of.... So today's question: IF I have to take my engine out again, obviously the transmission will some along for the ride. My Caterham 6 sp has been exemplary (tho not as wonderful as the battery), except that it pops of first if I accelerate in first and then lift off the gas. No big deal for a track day junkie, but it is a loose end that has bothered me. If i decided to auto-X more, which is where I discovered the issue, it would be a problem. So today's question: is this something an above average mechanic can fix, or is there someplace that folks with Caterham 6 speeds are sending their transmissions for refurbishment (on this side of the pond)? TwedleJoe
I second Mike and Taylor Race. They are good and turn around work very quickly. I would use no one else for this work.
