You won't see me promoting products here much.  I just think when Ford re-casts a vintage motor for the enthusiasts,  and upgraded it, its a big deal.

They started making these again several (10-12?) years ago.

They are a better unit now. Dimensionally the same, but some casting upgrades like stronger bellhousing ears and so forth. Also uses the 2 liter thrust washer, which is a full circle setup instead of the original half circle.

Yes, Ive been watching for these a long time.  I also believe Burton had an aluminum version for a few years.  I could be wrong.
