Anyone in the Florida area? Prospective owner needs help.

Hey everyone,

 

So I'm in the process of ordering my 1st '7' although I have driven and ridden in a few (being British), my wife on the other hand has not.

 

Is it at all possible if there is anyone around who would be happy to meet us or we go to them so we can see if she can get into an S3 or would the SV be needed.

 

Just to add she is in a wheelchair, so it's not as a simple thing we're trying to find out.

 

We're based in Central Florida, actually based in Sebring but like I said previously definitely happy to travel.

While I am not local to you, I do want to pass on that you are not alone.  There is a couple in western NJ with a Caterham S3 where the wife is in a wheelchair.  She loves going out for drives in the Caterham as a passenger.  The luggage rack was repurposed to take the wheelchair.

I'm quite a ways North and West of you, in the Panhandle near Crestview, FL.  I have a Caterham 7 SV. My wife had a fall a few years back, and one foot is now in a "boot" making it somewhat harder to enter/exit the Cat, but she still manages.  

There used to be a Caterham dealer in the Sebring area, dealing mostly with race-prepared cars, but I haven't heard anything in years and can't find any info now.

Nah no dealer here, closest is in Daytona to me but I'll probably end up placing the order with guy in California tbh.
