Tony Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 Suggestions as to a good source for spark plug wires for my '93 Supersprint? Pegasus discontinued the set I was using and finding accurate descriptions of the wire sets is confusing. Is there anyone who just makes a specific set for the kent ford crossflow? Thinking I may need a custom set..... Thanks, Tony
Tony Posted May 2, 2022 Author Posted May 2, 2022 Whoa! Posted too soon, maybe. Dave Bean had a set on the shelf for the supersprint, ordered those. Lengths seem a bit long though. 26" vs the 22"s on there currently. Still curious though if anyone knows of another specific source for a set. Thanks, Tony
MV8 Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 When the ends are standard male or female, I make up my own from universal, RF suppressing inductive/spiral wound solid wire sets that are very low resistance (for better running, starting) and longer lasting than anything else. If you don't feel comfortable assembling a set, a quality set of the same type for a common, older application could be used depending on the ends you need.
IamScotticus Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 (edited) '71-'73 Pinto 1600. If you have to look up by car. Its the only one in the states that ran the Xflow like we run it. Local parts will likely be ACCEL 4014 & 4015 MSD 31159 AC Delco 9044J NGK 52408 Denso 6714060 These are cut to fit the 1600. none of these include a long enough Primary HT wire.
