CSCC - First Caterham Cup Race of the Year - At Portland International Raceway

Hi Folks,

 

One thing let to another - after I had gotten my 620r last year, I found myself on the grid with a Beachman G7 (almost 420r spec) with a bunch of other Caterham's lined up at Portland Raceway. This was first the time I was driving this G7, in race conditions and what a blast it was dicing with other Cats with the massive advantage of draft.  I think we were 7 strong and should be up-to 10 x Cats by the next race at Pacific a few weeks from now.  I ended up winning  all 2 sprint races and the mini-enduro with zero issues thanks to Beachman's cheater G7

 

In the mini-enduro, in which all the classes came together - we also got top 5 overall. This was due to the heavy rain and the timid BMW's and Porsche's doing BMW and Porsche things.  I think the Cats are being more noticed now and maybe we'll get even more turn out
