fotsyr Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Looking for a heater for a Caterham, prefer non fresh air, but what have you? Also 2 or 3 KN wheels, or a set of Panasports, 14" x 6", for a dedion car, that was in an accident. chris
MV8 Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 (edited) I think all the original types are "fresh air", with the early sevens pulling from the center of the tunnel and blowing into the front of each foot well. Not much room in the cowl but a small coolant type heater could be assembled with the normal heater valve and a pc 12vdc box fan used in a diy box. Edited May 18, 2023 by MV8 Not fresh air; recirculating.

fotsyr Posted May 18, 2023 Author Posted May 18, 2023 Well that would be very convenient as my customer lives around Montreal! Photos and price please. thanks chris
jbcollier Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 The Sevens and early Caterhams had “recirculating”* heaters. Air is drawn from above the tunnel (but still in the passenger compartment), heated, and then out into the footwells. Fresh air heaters draw in outside air, heat it and out into the footwells or windscreen, displacing existing passenger compartment air. * admittedly, Sevens naturally have a high rate of internal air replacement when under way. 1
John Lehnen Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 These five KN Diamond wheels were installed on the Seven when it was assembled back in 1990/1991. They are 14'x6"x4.25 PCD with 22mm offset. I just replaced them with the Minilites as shown. I'm looking for C$500, freight extra.
