2016 Caterham - Sigma Engine - How do I adjust throttle position?

Hey guys, this is my first post here, picked up my 2016 S3 Roadsport 140 last weekend.

i was able to adjust my clutch and brake pedals further towards the front of the car for a more comfortable setting, but now my gas pedal is higher than the other pedals and in kind of a dangerous position as it’s the first pedal my feet hit.

I read a few writeups on adjustment describing throttle cables but my throttle is by wire.  I would assume (if position can be adjusted at all) I would need to remove the whole module?

If it’s a total pain in the neck, the old clutch and brake positions weren’t THAT bad, and I can just adjust them back.

wanted to see if anyone had any insight on this

Oh crap is my reaction.  That looks like an OEM complete unit and a change from the older version of the Sigma where you could adjust the cable to depress the pedal angle?  The other usual trick is whip it out and use a pipe bender to bend it but that will not appear to work here.

Have you re-read the assembly manual as that should talk about adjusting pedal length?

Can you open the box at the top of the throttle pedal unit?

If there is clearance between the pedal and firewall at WOT, it could be shimmed at the top but all the hardware should be longer and use nylocs or double nut to allow a lower torque spec without vibrating loose. You may not be comfortable performing arts and crafts on a throttle pedal servo, making it a non-standard part that will wear and eventually need to be replaced.

Better to bring it back to where it should be in relation to the throttle and replace or mod the seat to move you away from the pedals. Sit in the car without the seat and just a thin mat to get an idea of how much room there can be.

Yeah I think I may just put it all back.  I watched Turn 7’s video on adjusting pedals and was pretty excited until I took it out for a drive and realized my gas pedal was way higher and really go good way to adjust
