My dog does not bite, but it is not my dog.

What makes you think it has a VIN?  The plaque is just a convenient, accessible location to show a chassis number. If it were assigned a VIN for public road use, it would not be on the plaque.

What is the history of this car?

Thank you

you are right we looked everywhere for vin or other chassis markings. But no success
I bought car in 2017 in New Hampshire from Fitz Acheson who bought it from David Howard in 2006 who bought it from ? Maybe from a Ben Dyer in 2002

i have an verification vin identification from state of New Hampshire confirming LSC2324 as vin number in 2002.
Maybe an early Birkin

car is now in France and working on getting it registered. Full restauration  but not the paint. I want to keep it as is.

Don't know what you need VIN wise.  But on my early Birkin, the chassis number was under the rear roll bar mounts.  I had to pull the roll bar to show my friendly police officer.
