CarYenta Posted July 4 Posted July 4 (edited) Never installed brand new custom projects build from MCS earlier this year. Binned the car so never got to install these. They are 3-way remote reservoir with dry breaks. I worked with Wyatt at MCS to create this set. The goal was maximize shock travel for the smoothest ride possible. I have engineering drawings for each part, which I can send. We went through several iterations to ensure fitment. I shipped over the stock sport Bilsteins from my 620S SV, and they shipped back a few iterations for me to test. We came up with the following, where the front is upright and rear are inverted. The full range of motion was tested, so at least on my otherwise stock 620S SV without Watts linkage, it fits with lots of room. If you give me a photo of your setup with a watts, we can compare to see if that is a problem or not. I don't think it would be since it is well inboard. Current springs are 250 lb ft front 150 lb ft rear, Eibach. The remote reservoirs are lengthed so that the rears may fit the rear roll bar and front will reach the foot well for on-the-fly high speed and low speed compression adjustment. 900 mm + 900 mm front, 350 mm + 250 mm rear. The silver spring caps in the image below each have a slot in them, so you can swap springs without undoing the top stock nut as they slip past the shock piston when the springs are un-preloaded. Super convenient. You can get all 4 coilovers out in about 5-10 minutes once you know the procedure. See my thread here on USA7s to see the history - pictures there are of a test setup and not the final iteration which fits with much more clearance. https://usa7s.net/ips/topic/15460-620-s-build/page/9/ Happy to answer questions! They were over $6k, but am happy to find the right price for somebody. Buying an off the shelf remote 3-way is over $7k. Asking price $5500 + free usa continental shipping. Cheers! ^this was as I opened them, so they will be packaged similarly, but the MCS special tape is cut and re-taped now. One of the fronts on top, one of the rears on bottom: Super nice hardware the clicks are solid as a rock: ___________________________________ Here are some fitment photos of a test setup, not the actual set: The shock strut tube hides a little under the silver spring cup, the travel is huge.
