acoffing Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Hi all — I've listed my 2012 SV on Bring a Trailer and wanted to share it here in case anyone is looking. This is a heavily modified, well-sorted build with a great history. The previous owner's for sale listing (which details the extensive work he did) is here: During my ownership I added a factory Caterham FIA roll cage, Tillett B6 Screamer XL seats, Schroth 6-point harnesses, fire suppression, and most notably a fully rebuilt Tracsport Ford Type 9 transmission built by First Motion Transmission in the UK — a proper track-ready unit with semi-helical gears and full alloy casings. Come check it out on BaT: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2012-caterham-seven/ Feel free to ask any questions there, or ask away here if you prefer. Thanks! Andy
williamwashere Posted July 8 Posted July 8 @acoffing, I see in the listing you mention a trailer available too. Any details on that?
acoffing Posted July 8 Author Posted July 8 Sure - it is a 2022 Pace American. 16x7 foot and dual axle. I added the e track and the garage floor coating to the floor. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions!
williamwashere Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Hmmm…. what are you asking for the trailer? I need a trailer for my wife’s art business, and I’m trying to get one that I can have so double duty with the car.
acoffing Posted July 9 Author Posted July 9 Honestly, haven't quite decided that yet. I plan to offer it first to the high bidder since the e track is setup exactly at the track width of the Caterham. But if the high bidder doesn't want it, I will let you know! 1
williamwashere Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Makes sense!! Good luck on the sale, that’s a great looking car. 1
