  1. They are 420Rs. It sounded like this was a last minute addition to the F1 race too, my 420R build got bumped so they could work on them last minute. They’re good looking cars!
  2. What an experience. I watched a bit of the race online, what a photo finish today. Seems like you need to hide a vinyl Nessie logo somewhere on the car when you get it!
  3. Wow!!! Amazing looking, can’t wait until you can drive it!
  4. @11BudliteWOW those are LOOKERS. Amazing. I really want to know if it helps with heat in the cabin. I'm in Houston, TX and anything that keeps the footwell a bit cooler is high on my list of things to do.
  5. Thank you, I’m going to use this for mine!
  6. Man that’s so cool! While I’m waiting on my kit I’ve been experimenting again with my CNC and a diamond drag. This is my Company’s logo for now, but I used some anodized aluminum business card blanks. I need to rerun it with some titanium blanks to see how that looks. I used to do my business card with these when anybody cared about that sort of thing. Can you share the profile image of the Caterham you used?
  7. Oh man that looks like a blast, we need to do that in Texas.
  8. Josh is helping me get one for Houston heat too, he might be able to help you. Rocky Mountain Caterham.
  9. Nice! And in matching yellow too!
  10. Makes sense!! Good luck on the sale, that’s a great looking car.
  11. Hmmm…. what are you asking for the trailer? I need a trailer for my wife’s art business, and I’m trying to get one that I can have so double duty with the car.
  12. @acoffing, I see in the listing you mention a trailer available too. Any details on that?
  13. Thanks @mccasksl! My kit is complete at Caterham HQ, so depends on how quickly it gets on a boat. Maybe 45-60 days total? I’m going to have a ton of build questions no doubt, my Dad & I rebuilt a ‘73 TR6, but that’s the entirety of my automotive build experience. I’ll keep everyone in the loop as I put it together and I won’t be shy with questions!
  14. I’m just North of Spring in the Tomball area, up US 249. Frontage Roads and Toll Roads as far as the eye can see. I’m going to need to go North more into the Conroe/Plantersville area when I want to go out. Otherwise I’m going to take it to Downtown Houston for work! You are a brave man @hahuang65 for driving in Houston with just the aeroscreen, one of my biggest worries for the car is if it’s even moderately comfortable and drivable in 105 degree heat, let alone getting smacked by 80mph stones on I45. I really like the center mount idea there, especially how impermanent it is. I already picked up a Beeline and have a 3D model of the clip with a screw hole, but I just paid for my drivetrain this weekend so I’ve definitely put the cart before the horse in having it. lol
