Donnie
Anybody know of a source for Girling rebuild kits for brake master cylinder for my '92 Caterham? Can't believe the only alternative is to buy a complete new unit ($400) which is the dealer's sugestion. Caterham US doesn't list a kit in their on-line catalog. slngsht
don't know anything about caterham masters, but damn, $400?! is it different than the standard master cylinders you can get from Tilton? If not, you just need to know the bore size...

Dave W
I would bet that if you took the old seals to a import auto parts dealer and told them it's from a "92" Girling master cylinder with this Diameter, that they could match a rebuild kit. Even if you had to get 3 $10 kits it would still be a lot cheaper. All I can say is that Caterham most be very proud of the master cylinder. Sorry but I just got a complete Toyota rebuilt Master cylinder for my seven and it cost a grand total of $38. Dave :7drive:

solder_guy
Your's might be reasonably priced but I bet it never leaks. I bought three new Toyota master cylinders for my car. One was $12 and the other two were $25 each. Rob
