Competition with Frankenstein

Maz:

I’m handicapping you 6 months and a nephew. The bet if you accept is is dinner for the whole family at the restaurant of the winner’s choice. Budget $150.00. The winner has to drive his completed car as is, for the summer. We would need to enforce spirit and intent.

Replace all of the exterior aluminum and polish.

Paint all of the fiberglass.

Have the computer and screen operational.

Dyno over 500 hp with a printout.

Replace the lower control arms.

Install custom taillights.

I'd say you have a head start.

BUT, I like the idea. I'll wait till I talk to Arya before jumping in.

What date did you have in mind? I can't commit to anything before June.

Let's make it June 21, official start of summer. $150 will be paid by the person whose car is NOT complete. If both cars are complete, we'll just pay our way and have a good dinner anyway.

BTW, I'm driving 4.5 hrs each way to work on the car a day and a half this weekend :willy:

I think that the time date of that picture is in December and that a more recent picture would be more complete. However I accept the date of June the 21st. We will need a crowd of witnesses and a small blat to celebrate.

That's the last pic I took when I left the last time I saw the car. Arya has been there one time since to go skiing.

The roll bar is tacked together and sitting just behind where I took the pic

LOL, that would be pretty cool. Although a bit drawn out. Hopefully in a couple weeks I'll be able to sneak away for a weekend or two and do some serious damage to that list of "to-do's".

Arya:

I'm leaving town tomorrow for spring break. I'm going to spend 7 days with the family at Myrtle Beach. When I get back in 1 week I'm installing a 16 camera security system in my shop. We should be able to track the progress of both sevens.

Remember that my seven hasn't even been taken apart completely yet.

Right, but are you refabricating large portions of your frame? or just body panels?

I light of this picture I think that the Ebrahimi Boys need to spot me some points.

P.S.

The monkey is off of my back!

at one point i had a set of z06 wheels, a set of thin spokes, and a set of wagon wheels, but I sold the wagon wheels, so I'm using the thin spokes on the vette, and the z06 set on frankn7. $200-300 is doable for thin spokes if you don't want perfect ones.
