One Lap starts tommorrow

everybody keeps telling me my car is over-tired. I'm sure it's true for autox, but it's reassuring to see you guys feel you need more tire.

 

Are you running 275s all the way around?

 

West tex and I have have several discussions about this issue.

 

I finally got info from an engineer from Hoosier..... Wider is better.

 

Of course you have to consider aero, unsprung weight, rolling resistance.......

 

In your case you have plenty of grunt to motivate them.

I'm currently running standard C5 Z06 wheels (free to me, since I had them already).

 

305 18's in the back. 275 17's in the front.

1600 is not bad at all considering you are v8 powered. Mojito is 1520 with a 1/2 tank of fuel.

You have to register for the magazine. At the end, 211 > R500 > Atom 300 in terms of lap times.
