I liked the earlier version of the Clubman better. They are pretty heavy but visually pleasing.

Quite a few years ago we had a visit from a very nice guy from Australia, took about a hundred detailed photos, and a list of part numbers, a month later asked if we would sell him a bare chassis. I never responded and a few months later that first Clubman was released with a very similar chassis design. I'm not saying it is a copy but sure looked the same under that body.

On the latest version are those ducts to the belly pan to create downforce?

 

The buyer with the detailed photo's of your car. Take it as a compliment on the frame design, "stolen from the best" is all too common

That's the way we felt about it. I did not blame him for doing it, I just did not want to make it any easier. I liked their original Clubman the best, great styling, but it seams every time someone gets to far from the original they don't make it. Hard to beat! ;)
