Is this for the s2000 engine? I would warn you against the high pitched muffler for the s2000 engine. It becomes very annoying in short order even cruising about 30 min you will be looking for ear plugs. On the track it becomes defening. Kevin and I have tried 5 different mufflers trying to find one that was acceptable. We finally settled on the Hushpower II. It has noise cancelling technology and cool shell. The cool shell is really great for a 7 it avoids probable burns on entry and exit for passengers. Hushpower sounds great at cruising speeds and talks to you when you get on it.

We tried a couple of Magnaflow units and a custom Stainless Works muffler not real happy with any of them.

I'm convinced!

Which series of hushpower II, round or the oval?

Which length I need? 12 ? 14 ? or 16 ?

Thanks again....I will do the same for my s2000

It is the round we used a 3" only comes in one size. I think a 2.5 would be suffcient for a NA motor. I believe the canisters are all the same size in the round. It looks at home on the 7.

hi!

i got mine from 'Pegasus Racing'; it was a 2-1/4" inlet/outlet, round style canister in stainless steel. length is about 2' long. i use a Chessman 4-1 header, into the race muffler, and it exits just in front of the rear wheel. sound is fairly deep, but i think it sounds nice.... motor is a hotted up crossflow, which i drive a tiny bit on the street, but mostly do track events with.... price was reasonable (somewhere between $100 and $200).

i typically only use this muffler/pipe on the street, and at 'quiet' tracks, like Limerock. i have a complete straight pipe that i use at loud tracks!

good luck in your search!
