soareyes
An interesting collaborative effort you can help design the next Caterham: SplitWheel Looks like it has full Caterham backing and at a minimum, a prototype will be built!

pi7ot
What are these desirable Automotive traits of which they speak? I thought that the 2008 Cat EVO 500 was the paradigm of such Goodness. I guess Cat should supply me an EVO 500 for a ten year evaluation to see if it can be improved upon. :yesnod: m
Spaz
A few years ago a TV special came out about Caterham and a race car builder (Reynard Racing Cars) trying to build the next super car. When Reynard Racing Cars went under and the team never got anywhere. They could not decide it they wanted the car to be front or rear engine. Every step of the way they where comparing the car to a Lotus Elise. This is about the time Graham Nearn passed the company to his son. This is after the Caterham 21 production ceased in 1999. The show had Simon Nearn and Jez Coates on the team. Does anyone know the show I am talking about? Found it: http://www.open2.net/caterham/tv_summary.html Sounds like the same thing all over again. Can anyone find the show on the net?
breezy7
try this linkhttp://domestic1.sjc.ox.ac.uk/~jn/caterham-bbc4-documentary.mpg The show was called"Caterham- Survival of the Fastest" It was on BBC4 and pretty interesting stuff. The decision process dragged on forever and Reynard went out of business before anything was decided. I just tried the link, for some reason the cut and paste is not working. Try a google search for "Jarod's Caterham" and you will see the link. Mike
