Motor bike riders that fellow "car drivers".

It's very odd that some of the best drives ( i.e.: bored , and if the sun shines why not go out) I have had on the PCH 101 have been with super bikes that I have met on the run by chance.Had a good one yesterday with a Suzuk R1000i owner, ended up having clams ,beer and talking about cars, bikes and divorces and the meaning of life..., (thats a great night out for me).

A while ago I thought it was funny when the owner of a fast bike said " I heard you coming, then saw you pass and had to see close up, I was thinking Grand Dad in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang out for a stroll then you took off".lol.

It was that day that I realised that as fast as this car is on the curves, and I was pushing, these bikes are just a bit quick on the straights, just a bit, lol.(in the blink , and I mean blink of an eye, he went from my rear view mirror to 30 yards ahead).

The first time my wife and I ever went to Deals Gap area, we hooked up with Paul Whittle. Paul rode his Busa and we followed along in our Stalker. This was in 2004 before Paul had his SuperStalker was on the road. We have made several trips to the area since then and found the bike crowd to be very friendly.

Interesting, the Suzuki website does not list any horsepower outputs for the Hayabusa or the R1000..........

Guess they don't want folks to know just how potent these crotch-rockets are......
