slngsht Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 so, today there was a flyover of a 747 escorted by a F16 over the NY skyline, causing some buildings to evacuate. The purpose was for a photo shoot over the Statue of Liberty. I wonder if they considered PhotoShop???
scannon Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 From the TV coverage it looked like a bad day for photography, the sky was grey. That's a real expensive photo shoot, one 747 and one fighter jet plus an airborne platform for the photographer.
BobDrye Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Videos from Walmart, a Ipod for the Queen, problems with the Teleprompter. Welcome back Carter!
Kitcat Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Doesn't it detract from this site to have these politicized comments? Because some of us would trade a Carter, not to mention an Obama, for a Bush II in a heartbeat. But I think it's best to skip that debate and focus our attention on our shared love of our cars. They provide a such nice distraction from the increasingly hostile right-left rhetoric. (IMHO).
rotus8guy Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Distract? Notice this is in Off Topic? I was never a Bush fan, but probably for different reasons than you. Increasingly hostile!? Maybe cause your guy is the target now, did you somehow miss the BushChimpyMcHitler stuff for the last 8 years? Sheesh.......

It wasn't about Obama, but clearly it's gone really off topic. I agree with KitKat about keeping comments about Bush / Obama, etc... out of it. I don't really have any problems with issue discussions as long as some restraint is shown to refrain from name calling etc...
