Sunday I am taking my 8 year son to his first autocross event. A local club has a class for kids, and a local racer offered to let him compete using his sons 2.5 hp cart. He is so excited. He has been racing cones with electric car. We'll see how he does, figure he will either cave and be too afraid, or will settle in and enjoy the ride. No way to know till we get there.

Ran some errands today in the Caterham between storms, tornados, hail, rain, etc. We seem to have 4 - 5 tornados on a daily basis this year. Craziest June weather I can remember. Right now there is a mix of rain and hail coming down.

... the Caterham between storms ...

Tornadoes and Hail? Scary in a Seven! :o

Today I met another Sevener from Augusta .. who owns a range of Lotus cars .. Mike came by the shop to admire the Rotus .. which he described as a size bigger than his RH drive Caterham from the seventies. He has a classic license lettering on the front of his car KAR120C! (I used to have KAR120C on the front of my Celica until a deer bit it off in a road hap.) Hopefully Mike will join the forum and post pics of all his cars!
