lancylad Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Hi fellow 7 nuts,I have finally found MY toy.. Its still in Japan in storage untill March of next year, so I will get it in time for spring madness. I'll try to post a couple of pics, never was good at this internet thing. She is gonna need a bit of sprucing up, thats ok, I'm sure I will have a ton of questions for you long time owners of these fun machines. She is a 1995 Westfield SEIW,1.6L CVH,factory built in the UK. 48,000 kms. Hope this works. Steve
MHKflyer52 Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Nice looking 7.....I do not think I would beable to wait till March even if it is only 3-1/2 months away.
lancylad Posted December 11, 2009 Author Posted December 11, 2009 No choice, car has to be 15 years old to enter Canada. I have waited since I was 18years old, I will survive the next few months...wont have any nails left but I will survive.
1-t Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 The Kawasaki license plate is cool. They are supposed to turn them in but you may be able to talk them into sending them along with the car.
MHKflyer52 Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Man that is tough. Did not realize that you are in Canada and that you had to go through those hoops. Well at least it will be closer to spring for you when it dose arive.
Kitcat Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Congratulations-from one Se7en nut to another:Let the upgrade-itis begin! Won't be much opportunity to drive in Canada before Spring anyhow so the wait should be tolerable. Mike
lancylad Posted December 11, 2009 Author Posted December 11, 2009 The missus is talking about what colour Leathers she should buy,(for her not me.) This gets better all the time...
DeanG Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Ah ... I wouldn't mention women and leather on this forum. It makes the denizens restless. Great looking car.
lancylad Posted December 11, 2009 Author Posted December 11, 2009 While we are on the subject of Leather, lets talk about Rubber.. the car has Yokohama AO38/50R15 right now, they are somewhat used. Any suggestions as to what would be a good comprimise for road use and yet handling befitting a "7". Damn, all this leather and rubber talk, need a cold shower.. thanks guys. Steve
